University Place is the The University of Manchester’s flagship large event venue. Completed in 2009, the iconic structure sits at the heart of the University’s main campus. It is ideally placed for an innovation conference, being located near the life sciences campus, Manchester Business School, and the Kilburn Building, where the first computer was developed. FastForward2012 delegates can look forward to enjoying the comfort and style of a state-of-the-art lecture theatre and multiple workshop rooms.

Wheelchair access
The university campus map shows the wheelchair-accessible route around the university. It is clearly marked in red. (NB the campus is undergoing extensive building work: the published route does not cover all areas of the campus due to ongoing/planned construction works. The route is likely to be modified as and when areas of the campus are redeveloped.)
